WishList RC-Timer Pro v. 2.1

Version 2.1 of RC-Timer will contain the following:

  • End the flight-time if the maximum time has reached
  • Find a way to scroll and start/stop the time in the whole screen area, maybe scroll with two fingers and start/stop with one finger Check! I have found a way.
  • Display time in minutes/seconds instead of only seconds. Probably changeable via a switch Check! it works
  • F3K task 3 out of 6 accepts more flights than 6 flights and counts the best time too. Wrong! Check! more flights are accepted but only the best flights of the first 6 will be validated
  • Find a way to be able to scroll while flying Check! it works
  • Add a switch to be able to enable the countdown timer voice for the target time or the working time Check!
  • Calculation of the Total Time in a round contains errors. In F3K times must be added using whole seconds, in other disciplines tenths of a second are used Check! solved.
  • In training mode, increase the worktime-window. E.g. from one minute to 20 or so Check! it works
  • sometimes, the voice calling the remaining worktime doesn't work. Mostly clearing the database does solve this issue. I think it's a memory problem but I have to dive deeper into that.
  • be able to start and stop the time using the switches on the headphones of the iPhone (experiment) No, not yet. Postponed to v. 3.0
  • The background image of the screen appears upside down and inverted. Check! Solved
  • Be able to start the worktime 5 seconds ahead. In this way the timer does not have to start 2 timers when the pilot launches te glider

Version 3.0 of RC-Timer will (probably) contain the following:

  • F3B Functionality (v. 3.0)
  • F5B Functionality (v. 3.0)
  • F3F Functionality (v. 3.0)
  • Upload of results

I have not used your program (no iPhone), just have a question. Do you truncate fractions of seconds when displaying the flight time? This is very important for official F3K contests.

Need count down audible for target times in the ladder task (add 15sec task)

The "Worktime" countdown clock jumps from 10:00 to 9:58. Is this by design? Along with the flight time timer being able to show minutes and seconds, it would be great if this were fixed.

Is it possible on F3K tasks to have an audible countdown of (say) the last 20 seconds of a fixed time flight?

Would Prefer to have the ability to alter how much of the remaining time to be read out.

Or alter how often you get an audible time, perhaps the ability to have a timecheck every 30 seconds, or a user selectable interval?
