When a famous musician leaves the planet, there's always the widow to make sure that her late husband will keep supporting her through archival releases and "endorsements". Courtney Love has no trouble at all in putting her sign of approval on a new pair of shoes:

Converse have announced plans to release a new limited edition series of shoes inspired by late-Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, each decorated with drawings and writing from his posthumously released journals. The line will include Converse High Tops and rather more morbidly a pair of black One Tops, the shoes Cobain was wearing when he committed suicide in 1994.

A big "fuck you, Courtney" is in order.

Placing a bid for a rare Beatles' album might be hazardous to your financial stability:

An extremely rare copy of the Beatles' ninth studio album the White Album, is going under the hammer at Film and Music Memorabilia auction early next month.
A copy of the White Album, with the serial number '00000007' is being auctioned on March 4 and is expected to fetch upto £5000.

A Rolling Stones Wine Club? You gotta be fucking kidding, right? No, I am not. Jagger Inc. is now offering "Rolling Stones Glitter Tongue wine". Here's the blurb:

Join the Wine Club to get your Glitter Tongue Collector Set today!

There is no membership fee!

Members receive one beautiful collectible etched wine per month! By joining, you agree to accept the first six shipments, allowing you to build a one-of-a-kind, matched & numbered Collector Set. After that, the choice is yours. Stay in the club and build another rare Collectible set (totally new wines and etched designs!), or you can cancel at any time.

Each monthly shipment is $100, plus tax and shipping, and includes a beautifully hand-etched and painted, individually numbered bottle of Rolling Stones Glitter Tongue wine. Each month is a different handcrafted wine, and a different colored Glitter Tongue.

Numbered, etched Glitter Tongues are ONLY available to Club Members.

As long as you're an active Club Member, you'll receive the same bottle number. For example, Club Member #100 always receives Bottle #100.

With your 6th shipment, you’ll receive an Official Collector Box and Official Certificate of Authenticity. The box and certificate are both numbered to specifically match your etched wines.

Wine clubs are currently only available for U.S residents.

Garage sale at Kurt's. Courtney Love is selling stuff through an auction.

Late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain's widow, singer and actress Courtney Love, plans to auction off most of Cobain's belongings, according to Spinner.com. Love told the web site, "I'm going to have a Christie's auction. (My house) is like a mausoleum. My daughter (Frances Bean Cobain) doesn't need to inherit a giant Hefty bag full of flannel fucking shirts. A sweater, a guitar and the lyrics to '(Smells Like) Teen Spirit' -- that's what my daughter gets. And the rest of it we'll just fucking sell." Love added that much of the money from the sale will go to charity.
