All four Phish shows of the 4-night NYE run (12/28-31) at Madison Garden in New York will be offered as pay-per-view webcasts:

In order to celebrate New Year's with everyone, the band will offer live webcasts at LivePhish.com of each of their four sold-out shows (including Phish's New Year's Eve three-set performance) at New York City's Madison Square Garden. LivePhish.com will broadcast a 10-camera, high definition shoot with high quality audio mixed live. Fans can tune in on their large screen TVs via HDMI-equipped PCs or Macs, as well as on Android devices, Boxee, Xbox, Wii, and Playstation game consoles.

If you've got alternate New Year's Eve plans, you can still purchase the LivePhish Webcasts. Within 72 hours of each concert, we'll post an archived video stream available only to fans
who purchased the live webcast. When the archived stream is available, we will email you a code to watch the video (you will have 48 hours to redeem your code and watch the archived concert).

Spottiswoode & His Enemies will be on air at WNYC’s Soundcheck on October 6th, performing live in the studio and chatting about The Living Room shows in New York, where the band are booked for a Sunday Night residency throughout October.

Spottiswoode and his Enemies make their return to WNYC’s Soundcheck on October 6th, hosted by John Schaefer. The Enemies in attendance will be: Riley McMahon (electric guitar & glockenspiel), Tim Vaill (drums), John Young (bass), Tony Lauria (keyboards & piano) and the British frontman Spottiswoode, performing a couple of tunes from their acclaimed new album, “Wild Goosechase Expedition,” and celebrating their Sunday night October residency in NYC at the Living Room.

Tune in to 93.9 FM on Thursday, 10/6 2:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. PT (rebroadcast at 10:00 p.m./ET/7:00 p.m. PT.) or stream on wnyc.org. The radio station will also be offering a free download of the title track to their new album Wild Goosechase Expedition.

Trombone Shorty: CD release show webcast

For True, the new Trombone Shorty album, drops tomorrow. He is playing a release show tonight in New Orleans at Tipitina's. The performance and webcast will begin at 10PM Eastern. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Trombone Shorty’s Horns for Schools program as well as The Roots of Music, a New Orleans music education program.

There will a pay-per-view webcast of Phish Vermont Flood recovery show on September 14 at Essex Junction, VT. Webcast only will set you set back $199.99. A bundle with a T-shirt grand total of $44.99 (including shipping):

The concert will benefit Vermont flood recovery efforts. In the wake of Hurricane Irene, Vermont experienced its worst flooding in a century, which devastated communities throughout the state.

Proceeds from the concert and merchandise sales will be directed to The WaterWheel Foundation and The Vermont Community Foundation to aid in the recovery of the Green Mountain State.

Kenny Aronoff will be filling in for Chad Smith on drums for the upcoming Chickenfoot shows. There will be a free webcast of a live show on September 27th, coinciding with the release of their new album III. The European release date fro the CD, Deluxe CD/DVD and vinyl is October 24th. However, UK fans can get their hands on The Fan Pack edition as of September 27th, which includes two exclusive bonus tracks - Down The Drain (Live in Phoenix) and Oh Yeah! (Live in Phoenix) - and a 132-page magazine dedicated to the band.

Chicago jam rockers Van Ghost are gearing up for a 2-night stand (June 17-18) at The Connecticut Yankee in San Francisco, CA. They are supported by Big Light who will do an acoustic set before Van Ghost hits the stage in full electric mode. Both nights will end with a "Monster Jam" during which both bands will trade licks and grooves. While in SF the band will play at the offices of JamBase.com. That gig wil be webcasted.

Captain Beefheart tribute at The Bowery in NYC

New York's fabled club The Bowery hosts a tribute to Captain Beefheart on june 4th. All proceeds will be donated to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society:

Gary Lucas (Beefheart alumni, Jeff Buckley), Nona Hendryx (Labelle, Talking Heads), Nina Persson (The Cardigans), Nathan Larson (Shudder To Think), Cynthia Sley (Bush Tetras), Doug Gillard (Guided By Voices), Eric Slick (Dr. Dog), & Weasel Walter (Behold The Arctopus), will be joined by musicians from the rock, jazz, metal, progressive, blues, experimental, & classical worlds to perform faithful and interpretive versions of songs from Beefheart's entire catalog, from his 1966 debut "Safe As Milk" to his final record "Ice Cream For Crow", released in 1982.
