Thanks Lars and Jon - what an amazing setlist. Captain Hook, Chinese Envoy and Riverbank are played a lot here. Satellite Walk is a surprise!

Thanks - I was there and it was an excellent show. There was a fourth member of the band - I don't know who since we didn't get any introductions - with a keyboard, laptop and stuff. And an all female string quartet for about half the set. I've done a review here

Awesome set lists. Very different from recent shows. Would love to hear Captain Hook live!
Haven't seen John in about 20 years. We use to drive to New York and Boston to see him. He even played twice in Portland, Maine back in the late 80's. The best show I have ever seen was John Cale with Chris Spedding on guitar. By the gods that inspired!!

It was a fantastic show! So many of my favs were played, especially Riverbank!
If I remember correctly though, Letter From Abroad was the last song before the encore, not Satellite Walk.

Thanks. Can you remember if Satellite Walk was played at all?

Yeah, Satellite Walk was played. When John sang "Let' dance" I remember thinking: "...put on your red shoes and dance the blues" ;-)

Isabel, funny you should say that. I’ve been playing Toy (the unreleased Bowie) and a lot of the songs I can imagine John playing.
