Mainstream success band looking for street cred. Does It Offend You, Yeah? use plenty of feedback on their sophomore release Don't Say We Didn't Warn You, and loads of ad-lib vocal samples. The UK techno trash dance rockers are trying too hard to sounding fucking cool, overstuffing their tracks with every idea they had.

Make no mistake: there are fa ew tracks that work quite well using that concept, like the We Are The Dead, adding new layers one at the time, the sci-fi TV theme pastiche Yeah and the first single The Monkeys Are Coming. Otherwise you need to be on serious party drugs and squinting at the strobe lightning to appreciate this. After all the noise the album ends on an emo note with the mainly acoustic Broken Arms, an early morning afterparty song.

Does It Offend You, Yeah?
James Rushent: lead vocals, bass guitar, guitar, synthesizer
Rob Bloomfield: drums, bass guitar, guitar, synthesizer, backing vocals
Dan Coop: synthesizer
Matty Derham: guitar, backing vocals
Chloe Duveaux: bass guitar, backing vocals
