the setlist looks short but the songs were long, a lovely 'jazz' arrangement to "Amsterdam" this time...and another well deserved standing ovation for JC and his band...but maybe a tie-clip from Eden for Xmas John!

The Amsterdam arrangement sounds very interesting.
I really like the version he's been playing for the past year.

Amsterdam was my highlight of the show, too. Looking forward to hearing it again in Brescia on Saturday.

Maybe John Cale could do with a brighter sounding keyboard than the one he is using, whoever mic'd the drums deserves a medal they sounded fantastic and what a drummer. Yes, well spotted there was a moment when cale played the electric guitar with his tie. Wonderful wonderful concert on Sunday night.

Is anyone aware of a copy of it floating around? I've seen both the Cardiff and London shows, but felt his voicer was on stronger form for this than any of the previous ones. Musically I didn't find it as awe-inspiring as London (was quite disappointed with the trombone solo in Graham Greene, but was back on his side by the end of Amsterdam!), but was stunned by the drumming and, of course, the finale.

This show recently turned up on torrent site "The Trader's Den" but interestingly I see that it was pulled today with the following message:
Pulled at the request of Cale's management - "Negotiations are underway for the official recording to be released in the future."
