It’s just a thought, but wouldn’t Patrick Wolf fit in nicely at the Nico tribute. He was a spectacular support for Cale at RFH. Virtuoso on viola – and wasn’t the sound of that grand piano unbeatable. Such a strong stage presence, too.

Didn't he cover a Nico song at that performance too?

And wow, April 11th, seems a bit short of notice for a concert.

Ari's Song. Played and sang it beautifully.

Patrick Wolf opened with Ari's Song at RFH. Great version, too.

I agree. Patrick Wolf was so good in London and so was Victoria Sutherland his violinist. I would love to see him play in Wroclaw.

Although I’m a big fan of Mr Cale’s, and I enjoyed the Paris 1919 set, especially the Heritage Orchestra, I did think the second act, starting with Amsterdam and through to Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night was far from stimulating. In fact, I thought it borderd on being rather boring. I could have easily fallen asleep. Still, I look forward to the Nico tribute.
