The John Cale multimedia piece Dyddiau Du/Dark Days travels to Essen, Germany. Shows/screenings will be in July 9 and 10.

The venue appears to be an old coal mining facility. What a perfect fit for Dyddiau Du as that was the occupation of Cale's father.
I think I'm going to get tickets and hope there is some sort of encore with actual songs as the rumor was Cale and band are going to be there.

From the interview where Cale talked about it, it sounds like him and the band are providing music during the presentation. In my first post i was just curious as in addition to the ambient music during the presentation if there will be a proper song encore.
Does anyone know if Essen is easily accessible by train?

Confirmed: he will play the Dark Days soundtrack with his band.
And there will be a Q&A with audience participation on Saturday, according to the Theater der Welt site.
