The line-up for the European AWATS gigs includes former Utopia band members Ralph Schuckett (keyboards, vocals) and Kasim Sulton (bass, vocals), plus former Cars member Greg Hawkes (keyboards, vocals), Jesse Gress (guitar, vocals), Bobby Strickland (saxophone, vocals) and Tubes drummer Prairie Prince.

Sean Lennon: Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Undead

Sean Lennon has found a new niche for his music - scoring films. The soundtrack for the low budget horror movie Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Undead, made by his pal Jordan Galland, is built around Lennon's guitar and piano playing. Some of the tracks seem to be inspired by the classic Hammer Studios movies of the Sixties, which weren't exactly scary, but echoed the technicolour of the footage.

While lots of soundtrack fail to register when played without context, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Undead is a lively (no pun intended) collection of tracks that will fit nicely with a Sunday brunch. Who knows, in the future he might end up on the bill of a Burton/Depp extravangza.
