The Dogs: Free Write

The Dogs

The Dogs have grown teeth. Since their self-titled full length the Chicago trio has expanded into a quartet, adding the folk-tinged vocals of Rivkah Gevinson. They have kept the kitchen sink approach to recording. bringing the drums and vocals upfront. Trumpet, violin and woordwinds fil out the sound. Free Write is an album that deals with the rocky roads of relationships. Hollywood endings are - as a rule - avoided.
