Deadwax: Tearing Each Other Apart

Some people are already writing songs at the tender age of 14. It took lead singer Richard Power for UK band Deadwax a couple of years to get Tearing Each Other Apart released. Backed by an Eighties wall of wailing guitars, upfront drums and a wandering bass the track serves as a taster for a full length that will be released next year.

They already played at the NFL Tailgate Party at Wembley Stadium. Their rich textured sound and heaps of pathos went down well.

Umphrey's McGee: NYE in Chicago, free SBD download

Umphrey's McGee

Chicago progressive jam band Umphrey's McGee return to the Aragon Ballroom for their New Year's Ever shows. It's the tent anniversary and the band have uploaded a SBD matrix to the Live Music Archive of a 2005 appearance at that venue as a free download.

Umphrey's McGee is once again returning to the historic Aragon Ballroom to celebrate our 10th New Year's Eve in Chicago. It was an honor to share these two evenings with our fans and we look forward to sharing two more this year. As a thanks for your continued support of Umphrey's McGee we want to share our first two Aragon shows with everyone.
