The Sweet Serenades are a duo from Stockholm, Sweden, playing garage rock songs with a melodic twist. Their album Balcony Cigarettes will sit comfortably next to The Fratellis, The Shirts and The Strokes.
Singer Mathias Näslund has the cool delivery of a seasoned front man and lead guitarist Martin Nordvall makes every note count. They may sing about angst and misery, but that doesn't stop them form enjoying themselves. The Sweet Serenades are the kind of band that can get their audiences dancing and singing along.
