The grave of Brian Jones

Let's face it. The Rolling Stones never would have happened if it wasn't for Brian Jones. The Stones founder died in 1969 under suspicious circumstances. New proof has led to reopening the case.

The death of the Rolling Stones original guitarist Brian Jones is to be reinvestigated by UK police (...) Jones' death by drowning in 1969 was concluded at the time to be caused by drink and drugs, but new evidence from an investigative journalist, Scott Jones, is to be reviewed by Sussex Police to decide whether to officially reopen the case.

Hollis Brown

New York is a big city. Plenty of room for all kinds of music, but not the kind of town that is associated much with basic rock. But it's there. Hollis Brown is a foursome from Queen's that looks back musically. Their self-titled debut album needs only a little over 37 minutes for the eleven tracks.

The major force drummer Mike Graves who lays down rock solid rhythms with well-paced fills and rolls to keep things moving. Completed Fool might be a hit record and Bills & Ducks is made for the audience singing along. Hollis Brown is an album that will sit comfortably among AM friendly rockers like Tom Petty and Ryan Montbleau.

Hollis Brown:
Mike Montali: vocals/guitars
Jon Bonilla: guitars
Michael Wosczyk: bass
Mike Graves: percussion
