John Cale in Venice

The BBC World Service program Digital Planet has an interview with John Cale about Darker Days, his contribution for Wales at the Venice Biennale.

John Cale, a co-founder of the group The Velvet Underground, is just one of the stars at this year's Venice Biennale who also appears in the line up of Digital Planet.

Gareth Mitchell and Bill Thompson make the pilgrimage to Venice to look at the way new technology is influencing art. Each year digital art expands with the latest gadgets which enhance the resolution of images and improve the quality of film and video, but is it matched by radical changes to the art?
