Sierra Alpha
photo: Dominic Nicholls

UK band Sierrra Alpha are navigating between rock and pop. They have an anthem about a Superhero coming to the rescue and the seminal English powerpop balladry with piano, keyboards and jangling guitar (World Machine). Singer Martin Goddard has the voice that will reach the cheap seats at the back of the club without any problems.

Their debut EP has only five songs, all of them worthy of a fair amount of airplay on radio stations where the DJs still can pick their own stuff.

The EP is released on Major-G Records. Release date: June 1th. Buy it from the band's website.

Tracks
  1. Spending On You
  2. World Machine
  3. Superhero
  4. Take It To Dance
  5. Come Hither

Bonerama, the trombone heavy New Orleans jazzy funk band, never recorded a song in the studio. Until now. Hard Times is an up beat song that wil cheer you up.
