The Rest

Canadian band The Rest is in love with haltingly sung lyrics. They sound not unlike Echo & The Bunnymen sans the deadpan delivery of Ian McCullough. Based in Hamilton, Ontario, The Rest sing about being lonely in richly textured compositions. Being a septet gives them plenty of opportunity to build up their mainly acoustic songs on their second full length Everything All At Once. Hats off to the producer and the engineer who made sure that it never gets crowded on the tracks.

Live dates:
  • 04/03 Pepperjacks, Hamilton
  • 04/30 London Music Club, London
  • 05/23 The Spill, Peterborough
