Scotty Don't: Songs from the Back Porch

Some albums fail to register. Songs from the Back Porch is a pseudo reggae album made by Scotty Don't from Providence, RI. It's not the production, it's not the musical prowess of this foursome, but their material could do with a little spice. As they sing themselves in So Easy "work a little harder now".

They actually do know how as is shown in tracks like A Little Time and Hold On To Your Stories. Punk Rock Lullaby on the other hand is bogged down by vocals and guitar that sound like "aw fuck, we'll go with take 43 and piss off to the bar". O, and leave the delays and echo knobs on the mixing desk alone.

Scotty Don't:
Pat Downes: vocals, guitar
Scott Begin: drums
Joel Hanks: bass
Ben Schomp: keyboards, guitar

Songs from the Back Porch is a self-released album. Buy it from the band's website.
