The Mojomatics
photo: Antonio Campanella

When people talk about the British Invasion it's always about the Beatles and the Stones taking over the charts in the USA. They just don't realise it was a world wide phenomenon, and it gave birth to hundreds of homegrown UK-influenced bands all over the world. And it just never stopped. Forty years after the fact The Mojomatics, a band from Venice, Italy, are churning fast-paced pop tunes that bring back the glory days of The Yardbirds and The Kinks. Stealing a line from The Who's rarity I Don't Even Know My Self they have come up 12 songs for their Don't Pretend That You Know Me album. Lucky for them that baby boomers are still buying CDs (and it's also available as a 180 grams LP).

The Mojomatics: Don't Pretend That You Know Me

Don't Pretend That You Know Me is released on Ghost Records.

  1. Wait A While
  2. Miss Me When I'm Gone
  3. Clean My Sins

  6. Complicate My Life
  7. Stars Above
  8. She Loves
  9. Losin' Time
  10. Down My Spine
  11. Hole In My Heart
  12. Winter Got No Eyes
