Vic Chesnutt, Elf Power, and The Amorphous Strums
photo: Justin Evans

Vic Chessnut has done it again. Teaming up with Elf Power and The Amorphous Strums he recorded Dark Developments in own attic studio in the winter of 2007. It has trademark folk guitar ramblings spiced with Velvet Underground licks - he borrowed a few snippets from Some Kinda Love for Little Fucker.

Chessnut is still very much into lo-fi and this album is calling card for all aspiring home-recording artists. All you need are a good idea for a song, inviting a few friends to play along with you and press "record".
