Hot Lava
photo: Nate Dorr

Nerd pop. That's what Hot Lava from Richmond, VA is all about. They write songs about mac's, image resolutions and dragons who are into vegetables. They sound like a sixties band that was transported to the 21st Century and started using the musical options of the laptop age like there's no tomorrow. Sharing an art school background tehy paint their songs with tons of color. The ten slightly psychedelic songs on their debut album Lavalogy are ear candy for the inner circle.
