Plushgun is a project by Daniel Ingala, a Brooklyn musician who started recording his songs with just an acoustic guitar, adding layers of synths and electronic gizmos to end up with a four track EP that serves as the forerunner for a full length in January 2009.
Don't let the bubblegum electronica backing tracks fool you. This is an EP about fear and loss, the contrast of the lyrics and music will get him well deserved rave reviews among the cognoscenti.
The Plushgun EP is released on Tommy Boy as a digital download, CD and vinyl.
