Jay Brannan is a deceptive folk singer currently based in NYC. His velvet gloved tunes pack a mean punch, lyrically. No wonder that he called his debut full length goddamned. He is not afraid to say "fuck" in his songs. Quite often in fact, but with feeling. He might get mad at the world, some girl or a braindead show like American Idol, but he always comes up as a winner: inspiration to write a good song.
