Songwriters Circle

John Cale is on UK TV again. BBC4 rebroadcasts his appearance in the Songwriters Circle program at the Subterania Club, London UK, recorded May 12, 1999. The other two in the circle are Nick Cave and Chrissie Hynde.

Does anyone have video of this performance? I've seen "Ship of Fools" on You Tube, but never any of the other songs by John Cale. There are also videos up of 2 of Nick Cave's songs and 2 of Chrissie Hynde's. What else did John Cale sing and did he help out on any of the other songs? On the videos up on YouTube, he doesn't seem to help out on the others' songs.

Cale opened up with Dying on the Vine, then Thoughtless Kind, Fear is a Man's Best Friend and finished with Ship of Fools (helped by Hynde and Cave. I don't think he performed on the others songs.

I don't remember I'm Waiting For The Man, I don't think that song was broadcast for some reason

Ambulance ltd are tied up in never ending litigation which is why their Cale produced second album has been delayed.
