Peasant

Peasant is the nom de plume of Damien DeRose, currently based in Doylestown, PA. He writes melancholy folk songs for the alt.country crowd. The songs on is album On the Ground are acoustic guitar driven. It never speaks up and there is no need for that -- Damien DeRose can get his message across by keeping his singing at conversation level.

On the Ground is released on Paper Garden Records.
