From Bubblegum To Sky: A Soft Kill (Giveaway)

From Bubblegum To Sky

From Bubblegum To Sky is a one man band. Mario Hernandez is on eof those music geeks that will stop a nothing to his own sound. His third album is called A Soft Kill and he tackles his hang-ups one at the time. He songs may sounds cheesy at first, soundtracks for really tacky sixties and seventies sitcoms, but listen again and you will discover a true original, with his Japanese parentage taking care of the poppy sounds and the Mexican part in charge of the melody. Recommended if you are into musicians like Jonathan Richman.

Me and Howlin' Wolf went down to the "Killing Floor" where we listened to The Coast - "Killing My Friends"" - you can hear it at Wolves, Hawks and Kites: (http://www.wolveshawksandkites.com/2008/04/02/song-32-the-coast-killing-off-our-friends/)

Then we listened to "Killing Is My Business ... and Business Is Good" by Megadeth which cheered us up no end! To make sure we weren't just "Killing Time" (Hed Pe and Metallice) we decided we should be "Killing Oklahoma" (El Cid) so we headed off down the "Killing Road" (Megadeth) towards the "Killing Fields" (Slayer). By now we thought we were just "Killing In The Name" (RATM) so we gave it all up as a bad (Killing) Joke.
(And we know, "Death Don't Have No Mercy"
