Rustic Overtones

The Rustic Overtones have made a video for their protest song Letter to the President, a song taken from their Light at the End album.

Dubya fans and other politically challenged folks will not like it.

Freddie Stevenson

Freddie Stevenson is a Scottish folk singer who flirts with rock and punk. His new album All My Strange Companions contains a lot of track wherein people are told to fuck off, albeit in a polite way. His afro haircut may make him look like yet another freak folkie, but his material is too straightforward for that segment. He tackles his subjects head on, pours out his heart and moves on to the next one. Refreshing stuff.

All My Strange Companions is released on Juicy Musical Creations. Release date: April 15th.

Cracked.com compiled a list of The 20 Worst Cover Songs in Pop Music History. Includes Limp Bizkit with their take on Behind Blue Eyes:

"No one knows what it's like to be hated." We're pretty sure Fred and the boys had a good idea long before their dire rendition of The Who's introspective classic. There's actually a website called IHateFredDurst.com. That really says it all. Not even a frowny Halle Berry mouthing along saves this awful cover.
