For sale: the greatest music collection

And you thought you owned a lot of music. A really big collection is for sale. You need at least 3 million dollars.

Every recording in this amazing collection has been purchased by its owner, Paul Mawhinney, over a period of a half century, and stored in a 16,000 square foot climate - controlled warehouse. Many millions of dollars have been invested in the acquisition and storage of the collection, the estimated value of which is now greater than fifty million dollars.

Thanks for posting.

And you know what worries me most?
This:
Digital preservation would be fine were it not for the fact that CDs have a life-span of just 15 to 20 years. In a few short years, the information on your CDs will just begin to disappear. Forever.

Never get rid of your vinyl. You have been warned.
