USA folk singer Brandi Carlile is the special guest on the Newton Faulkner UK tour. The European release of her album is scheduled for April 21st. The single Turpentine hits the shops on April 14th. She was lucky enough to have T-Bone Burnett as her producer.

In case anyone is thinking of booking tickets for the newton tour to see brandi (i did) she is not supporting on 6th of march.. only 5th.... I bought tickets, and then found out.
We've had to wait so long for the album, i'm a really new fan and want to get the sale of her album on the UK charts so have not bought the album on import - it's a long wait!! and for a single too....... altho i see that as a slightly odd 1st release.
where do you get your info? that's the first mention ive seen of a reelase date!
