A brother and a siter teaming up in a band can lead to disastrous results. Remember The Carpenters? Tnankfully Angus & Julia Stone steer clear of the middle-of-the-road, taking left and right turns at will. Their Chocolate & Cigarettes EP has six songs and alternates between the two siblings taking the lead. They started out as solo acts, until they realised that the 1 + 1 can add up to a bit more than just two. Add in crime Mitchell Connelly to keep them grounded with his steady drums and you end up with an acoustic album that will stick in your player for quite some time.
