Prince?

Prince scares the shit out of his fans. No really.

His lawyers have forced his three biggest internet fansites to remove all photographs, images, lyrics, album covers and anything linked to the artist's likeness. A legal letter asks the fansites to provide "substantive details of the means by which you propose to compensate our clients [Paisley Park Entertainment Group, NPG Records and AEG] for damages".

White Shoes & The Couples Company

Retro soundtrack music from Indonesia. White Shoes & The Couples Company plays the kind of band that is best descibed as lounge lizard resort background music. Cheesy and unobtrusive, this is the soundtrack for a major hangover. A whiff of jazz, some bossa nova, and other genres that are popular with the expat bunch.

About half of the tracks are sung in Bahasa Indonesia, a language that a very small minority of the HCTF readership can understand. No biggie, most of it about sunsets, sundays and being in love or love sick. Their self-titled debut has thirteen tracks and you can hit repeat as often as you like to try to find something new and come up empty-handed.

White Shoes & The Couples Company:
Aprilia Apsari: vocals
Yusmario Farabi: acoustic guitar
Saleh: electric guitar
Ricky Surya Virgana: bass, cello
Aprimela Prawidyanti Virgana: piano, keyboards, viola
John Navid: drums, percussions, vibraphone

White Shoes & The Couples Company is released on Minty Fresh Records.
