Jimi Hendrix Experience: Live at Monterey

Classic magic on the big screen in London:

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Jimi Hendrix’s US debut at the legendary Monterey Pop Festival (1967-2007), and coinciding with the release of the DVD Jimmy Hendrix Live at Monterey (The Definitive Edition) released Monday 29th October, featuring the brand new documentary film ‘American Landing’, a major theatrical simulcast featuring Hendrix’s legendary Monterey footage will be screened at 7:45pm on Thursday October 25th at the London Hippodrome in Cranbourn Street.

Live on stage afer the screeing: Gary Moore, and surviving Jimi Hendrix Experience members, Mitch Mitchell (drums) and Billy Cox (the bassist who also played in the Band of Gypsys), plus Darrin Mooney (drums with Primal Scream) and Dave Bronze (bass).

These United States

Downhome music from Washington, DC. These United States bring live to a boring capital and the rest of the world. Their album A Picture of the Three of Us at the Gate to the Garden of Eden will be released in 2008.

Two members of the band will play a string of live dates in Europe, with Vandaveer as the opening act and third band member.
