Mighty Six Ninety

American band Mighty Six Ninety took a swing at world domination through an UK label and missed. They moved back to California, with a few hard lessons learned and plenty of inspiration for new material. Cheers to the Bitter End is a mix of modern day Britpop and new wave (Echo & The Bunnymen, The Smiths). It is a "It's my party and I'll cry if want too" kinda record. It sounds cheerful enough, but the lyrics are full of Weltschmertz. Dance music for people who like to think about things.
