The Echo Project

The usual suspects are rounded up for The Echo Project, a three-day bash of music and awareness in Atlanta in Oktober.

The Echo Project kicks off its annual eco-responsible music and arts festival in Atlanta, Georgia this October 12 – 14, 2007. The three-day, multi-stage camping festival will be held on 350-acres of scenic Chattahoochee river front property on a privately owned 1250-acre farm just south of metropolitan Atlanta. With a green focus and philosophy, The Echo Project is set to revolutionize how music and arts events affect our environment through eco-friendly event production by ways of carbon emissions, power consumption and creation, alternative energy sources, and waste management and recycling initiatives. For its inaugural event, The Echo Festival along with Sustainable Waves and Rivers Alive is also launching a major Chattahoochee river clean up prior to the festival.

Look its goin be a little Bonnarooo!!! Im going but in the ATL I wonder bout the vibes? We live like an hour away from Manchester TN, so goin to the Roo!!! there is notin but cows and chickens. Someone who lives there let me know how the area is. The site, http://www.the-echoproject.com/, says 30 miles south west of ATL, but 30 miles can still be bad.

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to all my festie peeps, this festival will be huge, trust me make the trip or you will never forget yourself! I mean think about it, this is the first year so it is freash, and hasent been tanted or turned away from jambands (witch is the reason 95% of people will go). This festival will be way more than anyone can expect, "This is not like BONNAROO, VEGOOSE, 10K lakes, its way better cause it hasent been fuc*ed around with, they just found amazing artist and a great site. If you dont know fairburn, well it is somewhat like Manchester in that its a large farm with alot of acerage and plenty of room to camp that all i can say for now. Also I have a feeling everyone will be suprized what other artist will be their that are not even on the line-up. For example Medeski martin and wood will have a twist, John Scofield iam sure of it. Also The Benevento - Russo Duo, am I the only person that saw this, TREY ANASTASIO now feel out on this. Bonnaroo 2006 if you were their who played with The Benevento - Russo Duo, well if you dont know it was TREY. Now iam not for sure but it only adds up, and I would be suprised if he plays with MOE, who knows it can happed. Toubab Krewe is also someone who I see having a special peformance! Oh yea and STS9 will not be thier so stop being so picky, how can you even ask for another artist to be added with this line-up, you people make me sick. If you want to see STS9 come to atlanta around NYE and you can see 4 nights of long set list. I will see you all their and like i said dont compare this to any other fest because its better than all of them, thats right i said it "IT WILL BE 100 TIMES BETTER THAN VEGOOSE" hahahahaha what you gonna do VEGOOSE now that you let thousands of hippies down, dont worry their is always next year I see them learing from their mistake.
