Gary B & The Notions is an indie quartet from Baltimore, Maryland. Think of a band that mixes Weezer with Elvis Costello and a singer that wavers like Thurston Moore. Got it? Good, that's what they sound like. Their 8 song CDEP Get Those Crazy Notions! is a homemade product that will make their mothers feel proud. "What are you guys up to down there in the garage?" Former Hobbit Elijah Wood is to star as Iggy Pop in "The Passenger," a biopic of the legendary rocker. (...) "Passenger," which follows Pop's early years with his band the Stooges, is to be helmed by Nick Gomez ("Drowning Mona") from a script by Eric Schmid.
