Bye Bye Blackbirds

The Bye Bye Blackbirds from Oakland carry the West Coast close harmony torch into the 21st century. Their self-released ep Honeymoon is a lovely piece of craftmanship that will appeal to anyone who likes the Beach Boys, CSNY or Crowded House. Their lyrics are pretty good too, no wonder if you name the Kinks as one of your influences. Check out the pedal steel on Quiet Confusion played by guest performer Joe Goldmark.

The Bye Bye Blackbirds:
Bradley Skaught: guitar, vocals
William Duke: bass, vocals
Ian Robertson: lead guitar, vocals
Lenny Gill: drums

Honeymoon

Buy the Honeymoon ep in the shop, at cdbaby.com or in the digital format from iTunes.
