The Bosch are yet another NYC foursome with a penchant for the hey-day of New Wave - jangling guitars, a wavering lead vocal, a female bassist and a couple of second-hand riffs that sound pretty good. A kind of lo-tech Talking Heads cum Television who churn out their songs with a smile. Infectious.
The band members count Phil Spector, The Buzzcocks and The Pixies among their influences. And yes, they stayed up all night listening to The Velvet Underground in high school, just like you.
