The Virginia Coalition is a four piece from Alexandria, Virginia. They cover a lot of ground and their music can best be described as jamming rock and soul with a salsa sauce -- the kind of music that will move your ass. Live recordings are traded freely among fans (lots of shows at the Live Music Archive). They have a brand new album Live at the 9:30 Club on Blu Hammock Music, and being in line with the jam band tradition, it's a 2CD.
