Weblog perfectecho.com is posting reviews about every album by Frank Zappa. The webmaster used to work for the CIA, but then he got smart.
From his Apostrophe (’) review:
This album proves that the rock experimentalism of “Over-nite Sensation” was far from a one shot deal. Continuing in the same vein finds Frank playing even more guitar and branching out even further as to what a rock group can accomplish. One of classic rock radio’s only Zappa songs that tends to play every winter, the suite of “Don’t Eat The Yellow Snow” takes up most of the first half of the record. While considered by general population to put Frank in the comedy music class ala the Dr. Demento played music, but deeper inspection finds this music to be a lot deeper than considered.
