Customers at a record store in Los Angeles were shocked last night when Prince turned up and performed a surprise gig.
The funk-pop legend performed the impromptu show at Tower Records in Hollywood wearing a white top hat and jacket.
According to Launch up to 500 fans were given wrist bands to enter the store while hundreds were left outside in the rain.
He performed many of his classic hits such as Purple Rain and Let’s Go Crazy and even invited members of the audience up onto the stage for a dance contest.
