I came upon this 1967 rehearsal a few years ago, and it has since become my favorite Beach Boys recording. All very understated and to the point. Besides saying that, I will let the songs speak for themselves.

Cool. I've been listening to these recordings and I am really impressed. I had always placed the Beach Boys low on my list of things to hear, since I'd only heard the bubbly stereotype songs. But after hearing that opening track of "God Only Knows," I'm hooked.

By the way, are you going to Jam In The 'Dam? Justin from LiveMusicBlog is gonna be there, frankly I'm a little jealous.
