No, I have never heard of a band called the Granola Crystal Orkestra, but that's what The Jam Band Name Generator came up with when I filled in my name.

Tom Marshall has posted a cool three part story entitled Trey / Tom Songwriting weekend -- or The Camper Story on his blog. Tom, as you all know, is main man of Amfibian.

Amfibian is the name of the band led by songwriter Tom Marshall, who is best known for his association with Trey Anastasio, and their collaborations in songwriting for Phish. Marshall's lyrical vision is apparent in Amfibian's 2004 release, "From The Ether", and this vision is complimented by the individual talents of the other band members. The members of Amfibian have changed on a rotating basis sing 1999, with Tom Marshall being the only constant.

I think it was that we were really seasoned musicians. We had serious roots that spanned different cultures, obviously the blues.
