The Ugandan news paper The Monitor reports that 41 people were killed in ambushes near Juba in Southern Sudan. According to witnesses they were carried out by rebels with short rasta hair, which connects them to the Lord's Resistance Army of Joseph Kony.
The peace talks in Juba between the LRA and the Uganda government recently stalled. The second in command in the LRA, Col. Joseph Kony, blames the Uganda government, and the latter blames the LRA. Although Otti admitted that he send some troups to look for food.
The witnesses say that the attacks were done by two girls and three boys soldiers. The LRA fighters are now assembled in two camps in Southern Sudan, awaiting the results of the talks. Otti said there is not enough food there.
This is the game has been going on for twenty years now, and hopefully it will not endanger the current peace talks even more.
