You won't believe it, but it seems that Kenya is definitely entering the modern era. Yesterday in a bar I was succesfully infected by a virus. That's not news, because it's quite easy to get infected here by any virus you like.
This is something else. Being a user of a Sony-Ericsson k750i, I recently decided to have my Bluetooth connection always on. So, around twelve I could feel somebody was trying to establish a connection, and if I was ready to receive a file. Of course, and there I got something by the name 'a333jjf.sis'. My friend who has a Nokia phone did the same. It appeared to be a self-installing script for an application named 'Commwarrior'. Just browsed for it, and it appears to be a mobile phone virus. Incredible we have that in Africa. Welcome to the modern world. Hopefully it will not spread like other new viruses did in Africa. In the back of my mind I am afraid this will be easily solved, and the other real-life viruses will continue to spread.
Enjoy your weekend, and be careful with your phone (and your other precious gadgets).
