The Stock Exchange in Dar es Salaam was opened only in 1998. The previously socialistic economy didn't allow it. That old law was abolished, and now the DSM has a hand full of companies listed. 'We're doing great, and we are going to continue like this,' said the chief executive officer Jonathan Njau today.
