The best way to learn a new language is to have both languages displayed in daily life situations. So I found this very useful signboard in the toilet of Pizza Garden in Nairobi. You can grab them for free BTW.

That brings me to the recent remarks of Jacob Zuma, the former deputy president of South Africa who'se on trial now. The man was accused of rape, and during the court hearings he confessed having had sex with a HIV positive lady, without protection. He said he knew that as a man the risk of being infected is small, and also he defended his behaviour with having taken a shower afterwards, and in his view thus reducing the risk of infection.

With over 5 million people infected South Africa is the most affected country in the world. A vice-president shouldn't say things like that. For many people he's a role model, and now many people might follow his bitter example.

It's a serious problem in many African countries. South Africa has a bad reputation in this respect, and also Kenya is not free of it. The reason for the many rapes is hard to find. They collide with the many robberies, are blamed to extreme poverty, the minor position of women in some communities, misconduct of police men and soldiers. You will see these signboards on possibly dangerous places, and that at least shows that the goverment is taking the problem seriously.
