Burundi's former Hutu rebel leader Pierre Nkurunziza won the nation's presidency on Friday. He is the first post-war head of state, under the 2001 agreement that ended a 12-year-long civil war. The conflict claimed the lives of 300,000 people.

The peace agreement also can mean a solution for the 100,000s of people that became internally displace, and now are living under harsh conditions in camps. This boy was pictured in a camp near Makamba.
