Busy now archiving the footage of the video reports on the tsunami relief in Banda Aceh. I do that on dvd. That saves tape and is very stable.

Imagine, it's cold in Africa. That could be news to many people that know the continent from a distance. Never saw a picture of Cape Town in the snow, still they have that. In Zambia now it is winter, and the houses are not built for temperatures below twenty degrees. That means that you have to wear your jacket in the living room. It's good on the other hand, because of my Northern European background I can easily sustain this type of cold weather. Another thing, it evokes these wonderfull feelings of being home sick a little. The cold recollects memories of the snow we used to have in The Netherlands around Christmas, the tree, the presents. O man, it's so good to have that background, a base, other wise (in my opinion) you can never travel far for long. You need to be home sick once in a while.
