Off to Singapore today. Will do the uploads of the first two reports on the tsunami relief in Aceh. Working on three more, and I hope to upload at least one of them on the free wireless connection on the airport of Dubai, from where I will connect to Nairobi.

Being re-connected is like home coming. Just like it is to be back from Lamno in Banda Aceh. When you come in a country it's always the first place you stay that becomes home. Although the remote  village of Lamno was so calm. With it narrow unpaved streets, the wooden houses on poles. Outside around the beach the destruction is massive, and due to the upcoming rainy season some areas are flooded again. The tents that were donated by international aid organisations are half way under water. The few belongings of the people are floating around. It seems that once you are driven from your home you don't need much to be chased again.
