Embassy

Believe it or not, have a commission in Indonesia. To report on the relief efforts after the tsunami. Already went to Somalia, and now it is interesting to see the destruction from the other side of the ocean. Today's task is to find the Indonesian embassy. In the directory there are six numbers, but none of them is answering. Furthermore today I have to send samples of my work to a global broadcaster in the US of A. The newspapers in Kenya report on the world press congress in Nairobi. They repeatedly write on how Africa only gets negative attention in the international press.  There's some kind of thruth in that. On the other hand it is quite difficult to report positively on a continent that suffers from major challenges. My last positive report was on the Bob Marley Africa Unite Concert in Addis Ababa. Back to work now ;-)

Thanks! Just came from the embassy. They're processing my case. Visa should be ready this Monday or Tuesday. Now off to reserve a flight. Have to get myself from Nairobi to Singapore for the transfer to Banda Aceh. Guess I'll fly Emirates via Dubai. It's really the cheapest and comfortable connection.

If everyone could realize these things and truly be affected by them, the world would be an entirely different place. So, tell everyone
