We had a blast yesterday! "Astro boy" was a big success with my son (and also the other kids present at the show, as we heard them talking excitingly). It is unfortunate that this movie has little playing-time at the cinema's, because it's one great family-movie! It has got excitement, laughs and most important, is appealing to young and old.
Astro Boy is based upon the Japanese manga, where a scientist loses his son to one of his experiments. He then creates a robot, based on the boy's DNA, only added with some positive add-ons to facilitate his positive character. A robot and alien-fighter is born!
We loved it and it's a definite one to see with kids!
